Hotel had a great retro vibe and friendly staff. Valet parking was pretty pricey at $50 per night. Room decor is stylish but could use some upkeep. Breakfast buffet for $15 had decent options, but quality could be improved.

Beautifully decorated suites. A pleasure to stay here. Each staff member was courteous. Early check-in was seamless, thanks to Brandon. Delicious hot breakfast brightened the mornings. the overall experience falters. Limited elevator service and uncomfortable noise levels proved challenging. Amidst that, my room was entered without permission, leaving me feeling violated and anxious. The manager's handling of the situation was far from professional. Valet service was a paid inconvenience, with long waits and minimal staff. The area felt neglected, and I was left with lingering discomfort. Hospitality should elevate the experience, but significant gaps marred the stay. The potential is clear; execution needs major improvement.

The hotel has a cool retro vibe and is close to major attractions like Centennial Park. The valet parking situation was chaotic and pricey at $45 per night. Overall, I enjoyed the warm cookies at check-in, but the noise insulation could be better. Room was spacious and clean.

The staff will go outta their way to help you. You can walk to all the spots for the music fest, it’s perfect!
It was a bit pricey but still worth it.

I was really disappointed when I arrived to find that my king room wasn’t available. They gave me a double instead without any heads-up, which was super frustrating.

Loved the hotel's prime location, just a quick walk away from Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, and World of Coca-Cola. Super convenient subway station nearby for airport access, and a handy streetcar station right in front to explore the MLK historic site. Beds and pillows were comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Pricey parking at $50/day came as a surprise, so watch out if you're driving in. Elevator felt sketchy, old, and smelly.

The King suite was super spacious and the bed felt like a cloud! The outdoor pool was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. I loved the friendly staff, especially Tenn, who made us feel right at home!
strongly recommend 😊❤️

The location rocks; I could walk to concerts and explore. The staff is super friendly and genuinely helpful.
But the breakfast price kept changing and the food was a letdown.

The room was very nice and clean. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, with high-end bedding that made for a restful night. I found the room freezing; despite adjusting the temperature, cold air continued to blow out. The luxurious shower was disappointing, featuring a poor water pressure shower head that was also broken. Noise from housekeeping attempting to enter my room early invalidated my comfort and privacy. Valet was inconvenient at $55, especially without self-parking options. The location was lively, but nighttime safety is a concern.

The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown boasts a fantastic location near attractions and restaurants. I appreciated the quiet, comfortable room and the inviting pool area. Breakfast options were good, and the staff, especially the breakfast hostess, made me feel very welcome. A nice experience overall.

During my stay, I found it super easy to explore the city with just a few minutes of walking to major attractions like Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca-Cola, making it perfect for anyone who loves to stroll and soak in the surroundings while enjoying comfy beds and a nice restaurant bar in the hotel; however, the shower situation was a bit messy since it was a handicap accessible type and could use some redesign for non-handicap needs.

Great downtown location, within walking distance of attractions, which was a huge plus. The staff shone, especially a delightful breakfast hostess who made me feel right at home. Clean and bright, the room was comfortable, but the bathroom setup was awkward for families. Unfortunately, issues arose with communication regarding water service and parking fees; I ended up paying $150 for a car I didn't need. Coffee requests went unmet twice, which was frustrating after long days. The ambiance felt inviting overall, though there were some maintenance concerns to address. Would consider returning, but with caution.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on my recent stay at Doubletree By Hilton. Toree and Darryl at the front desk were absolute gems - always smiling and ready to help with any request. They really made my experience memorable! On the downside, the room elevators were a bit small and narrow, making it a tight squeeze with the valet cart. The doors also slammed shut, which was a rude awakening from my sleep. And it was chilly in the hallway and breakfast area, not the most comfortable. But the room itself was lovely, with a modern shower and comfy bed. The toilet seat riser was a thoughtful touch for those with mobility issues. The location was also great, which was a definite plus. I did face some issues with the cleanliness of the first room I was assigned, missing toiletries, and a malfunctioning thermostat. It also wasn't nice to have the room smell like weed despite a no-smoking policy. my stay was a mix of highs and lows, but the standout was definitely the exceptional service from Toree, Darryl, and Onna.

we were immediately accommodated with no problem when we requested a room change due to nearby construction. the staff were apologetic and quickly changed all the linen, providing a very pleasant experience. the hotel had a beautiful retro 60s look and was very close to bars, restaurants, and activities.
all was perfect ☺

Adored the '60s retro style, divine Southern entrees at The Cloakroom, and hosting a poolside party. The convenience store saved my snack cravings!
I absolutely loved feeling like a secret agent while being ignored at the self-seating restaurant.

Our family visited The Georgia Aquarium and The Children's Museum, and they were both fantastic! The kids were enthralled by the vibrant marine life at the aquarium, and the museum was a hands-on learning adventure.
My wife says that the hotel should offer more kid-friendly dining options.

It's super close to the Georgia Aquarium and The Children's Museum, so we didn't waste any time getting there! The staff were chill and the room was spacious, perfect for our squad!
The only thing I wish they had was a cooler rooftop hangout spot for us young folks to chill and vibe after a long day of exploring the city.

The bed and pillows were super comfy, the restaurant service was excellent! The front desk staff were nice and very helpful. The security guard even helped me to the room, which was unexpectedly upgraded to a suite. The property's recommendations, especially the bourbon chicken breast on pilaf rice, were a hit.
Parking was a rip-off, $150 for not even using the car. Valet parking wasn't available, and the parking garage charges were excessive.

Our three-night stay at this hotel was fantastic. The comfortable bed and central location made it easy for us to explore all the downtown attractions. We loved the convenience of luggage storage, 24-hour reception, and the bar/lounge area. The restaurant offered delicious food, although it was a bit pricey. The hotel's amenities, such as the fitness center and seasonal outdoor pool, added to our enjoyment. The rooms were well-equipped with a kitchenette and flat-screen TV, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Inattentive staff at times.

The breakfast and cafeteria staff at Doubletree By Hilton were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the heat in my room did not work, but the staff promptly transferred me to a better room. I'll recommend this hotel.
